Marriage Preparation Courses 2012

Here are the Marriage Preparation Courses that are being OFFICIALLY organised for the Archdiocese of Bombay for the period January to July 2012. These programmes should be done SIX MONTHS or more before the wedding to gain the best benefit from them.

SNEHA-ENCOUNTER TWO DAY Non-Residential course for ENGLISH speaking only.

• 14 - 15 April Sat-Sun. - Salvation Church Hall, Dadar (W)

• 23 - 24 June Sat-Sun. - Salvation Church Hall, Dadar (W)
• 07 -08 July Sat-Sun. - Salvation Church Hall, Dadar (W)

SNEHA- VIVAH TWO DAY Non-Residential course in AC Conference Hall.

• 25 - 26 Feb. Sat-Sun. - Kohinoor Hall, Prabhadevi, Dadar (W)
• 31st Mar. -1st April Sat-Sun.- Kohinoor Hall, Prabhadevi, Dadar (W)
• 02 – 03 June Sat-Sun. - Kohinoor Hall, Prabhadevi, Dadar (W)

1.	REGISTRATION for all these programmes has to be done in person only and ONLY at SNEHALAYA (see Office Hours given below). No registration will be done on the phone or outside office hours. Christians have to get their baptism certificate.
2.	Registration has to be done with the payment of Rs.850/- per head for Sneha-Encounter course and Rs.1550/- per head for Sneha-Vivah Course, and this includes pre-course reading material, snacks, buffet lunch and other material supplied. Refunds against cancellations are given up to a week before the course and the admit slip surrendered. A cancellation fee of Rs.50 will be deducted for any cancellation. No refunds will be given if you cancel 6 days before the course.
3.	For all courses the registration is on a first come first served basis. If seats are available, late fee of Rs.100 will be charged in the last week before the course.
4.	The Check-In time is 8.30 a.m. and the course ends around 7.00 p.m. The participants have to be present for the whole course or else they will not get the certificate. On Sundays it ends with Mass. LATE COMERS will not be admitted to the course.

ENGAGED ENCOUNTER Week-End Residential Course for English Speaking only.

♣ 13 – 15 Jan. ♣ 10 - 12 Feb. ♣ 9 - 11 Mar. ♣ 13 – 15 Apr. ♣ 18 – 20 May.
Venue: All at Retreat House, 6, Kane Road, Bandra (W), Mumbai – 50. Tel.:2642 2095. Each of these courses begins on Friday evening at 7.00 p.m. and ends on Sunday evening at 7.00 p.m. Separate accommodation is provided for males and females.

1.	As this is for couples, BOTH have to be present for the course.
2.	The Registration Fee is Rs.200/- per couple and a registration form has to be filled in. Their contribution towards the boarding and lodging will be told to them at the course (about Rs. 1800/- per couple). Registration done at SNEHALAYA.
3.	As accommodation is very limited, the registration is on a first come first served basis.

HINDI ONE-DAY COURSE for HINDI speaking only.

1.	Registration Charges are Rs.300/- per head. Late Registration Fee is Rs.50/- (Total Rs.350/-)
2.	Registration at SNEHALAYA. Rest as for the English Course as given above.

MARATHI ONE DAY COURSES for MARATHI speaking only. (not sure)

Venue: All at Mukti Sagar Kendra Hall, Uttan, Bhayandar (W), Thane Dt.

1.	The check-in time cum registration is 8.30 a.m. and the programme ends at 5.30 p.m.with mass.
2.	The Charges are Rs.300/- per head (includes lunch etc.) to be paid at entering the hall. NO LATE COMERS admitted. Please bring your baptism certificate.
